지혜로운 여인 / A Wise Woman

여잔 나이들면 얻는게 많다.

세상을 넓게 산다
보는게 커지니

눈이 높아진다
그동안 쇼핑한게 넘많아서 주머니속보다  안목만 높다

생각도 깊어진다.  
살면서  생각없이 말한 말 때문

남에 대한 배려도 깊어진다
하두 남편과 자식이 속을 썩여서
남의 일도 내일처럼

병도 하나둘씩 생긴다
그동안 넘  못돌봐서

자연이보인다
사철 변하는  계절에 맘이 설렌다
............

근데 지금 내 발만 본다
신발에 물집 잡힌 내발

A woman gains much as she ages

Her world becomes larger
Because her perspective has grown

Her tastes more refined
Because of all the window shopping

Her thoughts become deeper
Because of all the thoughtless chatter

Her care for others become deeper
Because of the grief her husband and children cause   
Care for others like my own

She gains illnesses
Because she could not care for herself

She seees nature
In the four seasons
.............

But I only see my feet
The blisters from my shoes
